JEMBER – The Department of Agroindustrial Technology (TIP) at the University of Jember (UNEJ) successfully conducted a Community Service program focused on enhancing the value-added potential of local commodities for the residents of Ambulu Village. Held over three days from December 2–4, 2025, the activity took place at the Cooking Class facility, 1st Floor of the isDB Building, University of Jember.
During the program, participants were encouraged to diversify three primary commodities—banana, corn, and cassava—into high-value agro-industrial products. The event featured hands-on processing workshops, interactive discussion sessions, and presentations on business development strategies based on local potential. Through this synergy between academia and the community, TIP UNEJ aims to foster the growth of innovative, independent, and sustainable agro-industrial enterprises at the village level.
